Changing The World One Pixel At A Time

About the project

Changing the World One Pixel At A Time is a pro bono initiative by Vanilla Factory. The idea behind this project is that you don't have to be rich to start giving. Vanilla Factory has devoted time to work on web projects for free for non-profit organisations or causes that need a voice on the web.

John

Heard a wonderful piece of news last night. John, the Chin refugee we've been in contact with has been registered with the UNHCR in Malaysia. That means he's now one step closer to freedom. He will still need to attend an interview before finding out if he'll be given refugee status or not. If successful, he will be put on the waiting list for deportation to a better country. It's a long process but at least he is one little step closer.

At the same time, it reminded me of Markus and I fight back the tears.
